Times! Find out what's going on at Youth Nationals- who won the AHYA officer
elections, what activities are coming up, and results of contests. Stop by

Youth Nationals Trade Fair
10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Daily
Creative Arts Building and Heritage Avenue
Lots of great items for sale ranging from show clothing and tack to art,
jewelry, books, and other great merchandise! Come shop from the companies
that help support Youth Nationals. These commercial exhibitors will have new,
innovative products as well as the best in horse show necessities. AHA
Corporate Partners, including the Arabian Saddle Company, will be among the
exhibitors. Stop by to thank them for their continued support of your sport.
Silent Auction
10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Daily
AHA Booth, Creative Arts Building
Great auction items are open for bidding all week. Be sure to bid on a
roundpen from MD Barns and a year's supply of Strongid C or C2X from
Pfizer!!! Bids close at noon on Saturday, July 26. All proceeds benefit the
AHYA.

You all need to check out what's happening, and every one of you is welcome!
This year's Convention theme is the fabulous "New Look, Designs by
AHYA." That means skits with runways, lights, and high fashion!
Convention is THE place to talk the talk, so come to express your opinions
about your association. Also vote for officers and ask questions of the Youth
National Show Commission. Step up your influence by becoming a delegate for
your club- make sure to ask your club how. All youth welcome! Thank you to

Stick around after Convention for summer fun, food, drinks and games! A DJ

Parade of Regions
6 p.m.
Tingley Coliseum
Show your team spirit and participate in the Opening Ceremonies of Youth
Nationals. Incognito golf carts allow youth members to distinguish themselves
and show pride in their regional achievements. Prizes awarded for best
entries, so get going with your golf cart conversion! (Meet at in-gate at
5:30 p.m.) Sponsored by Equine Sports Medicine and Ann & Bob Knoop.
Monday, July 21
Stick Horse Workshop and Contest
Workshop Noon - 3 p.m. Heritage Square
Contest 6:30 p.m. Tingley Coliseum (Meet at in-gate at 6 p.m.)
An old fashioned Stick Horse Contest gives li'l pardners a chance to
participate in Youth Nationals. Bring a stick horse from home or make one at
the workshop. Toddlers to 6 year-olds will be able to compete in their very
own class in front of real judges, with their own customized Arabian horse
creations. Prizes awarded to all participants! Proudly sponsored by Hesten
Park & the Hoffman Family.

Third Annual Youth Nationals Dog Costume Contest & Dog Race
Tingley Coliseum
Time TBA
Get along, little doggies... Bring your best dressed dog to participate in
the dog costume contest and your fastest dog to compete in the dog race. Just
as fun for spectators as participants! Great doggie awards provided by
Freedom Run Horse Shows Management Company.

We all scream for ice cream!!!! Stop by for a FREE TREAT and check out the

Arabian Horse Hippology Contest
8 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Youth Office in Jobs Daughters
Show up your trainer when you show off your equine knowledge-- AND win awards
in this popular contest. How can you go wrong?!?!? Quizzing stations will
challenge children, teenagers and adults. Winners will be presented in
Tingley Coliseum, center ring. Contest sponsored by Turtle Rock Partners and
Region 10.
Friday, July 25
Arabian Horse Novice Judging Contest and Clinic
3 p.m. or following last class
Horse Arena
Get ready for the Arabian Horse Youth Judging Contest that is held at U.S.
Nationals each fall by participating in this novice contest and clinic.
Contestants learn from a clinic featuring a top Arabian judge, and then place
four classes of Arabian horses. Verbal reasons are not required in this
contest. Prizes will be awarded and the winners will be presented in Tingley
Coliseum, center ring. Sponsored by Region 1.
Boot Scoot Street Dance
9 p.m. - midnight
In front of Creative Arts
Shake your groove thang to a DJ's music. Come enjoy the dancing, refreshments
and door prizes. Did we mention door prizes??? :-D Come work out the
kinks from a long week of showing! Exhibitors, families, trainers and support
crew are all welcome! Sponsored by Region 8 and Ariat.
