GAHA was formed in 1965 as a place for Arabian horse enthusiasts to gather and share their love of Arabian horses. Our goal is to provide educational events, horse shows, clinics, and more. We have members of all ages and offer many options for membership. Our year-end awards program offers a fun way to compete with your friends and enjoy a day of celebration for your efforts. Whether you ride in recognized shows or in schooling and open shows, you are eligible to compete in our program. If showing is not your priority, we have fun events like our annual trail ride, clinics, seminars, and other activities as well. We invite you to become involved with GAHA and make new friends with other Arabian enthusiasts like yourself. Check our website often for updates on upcoming events. Our club puts on a two to three day Endurance Ride at Big South Fork every year as well as an open youth horse show.

We welcome members from anywhere who need competition cards- no club dues so this is the best deal for distance riders and show people who don't need high point or club affiliation.

Our club's roots trace to General JM Dickinson's efforts to promote the breed as a versatile working, pleasure, show and sport horse. His daughter Margaret Dickinson Fleming helped found the club and today we remain a group of diverse interests and disciplines. MTAHA's annual Music City Shows is in its 34th Year.
