Landon Equestrian, LLC (LEQ) is a premier equestrian center and breeding program situated in the lush heart of Santa Ynez, California. Santa Ynez was the “Arabian Horse Central” for many years. It is a place where horses thrive and spend their lives roaming endless acres of vegetation. LEQ was founded in 2021 by the Landon Family who have grown the program beyond their expectations. CEO and one of the founders Brooke Landon was discovered in the Arabian horse business at the young age of 12, and has been dubbed as an equine impresario by several industry leaders for her extensive understanding and adaptability of equine bloodlines and genetics. She has built a group of extreme quality assets for the program, consisting of the absolute best Arabian, Friesian, and Saddlebred mares, along with 3 Arabian Stallions and 1 Friesian stallion. The program is ever growing and extending to more breeds and areas inside the wide Equine Industry. LEQ is in perhaps one of the best locations that an equestrian center can land in. In California, for one, with emergency care, surgery, etc. only 10 minutes away, Embryo Transfer Centers 20 minutes away, advanced reproductive technologies such as ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) just an hour away, and studded with hotels, places to eat, other equestrian centers and places to take their horses to explore and exercise. LEQ is projected to emerge as an industry leader in the next few years. We train and rehome Arabian horses as family, trail, endurance, and performance horses. We have an average of 100+ Arabian horses on our ranch at any one time. Additionally, we provide retirement for 50 Arabian horses who have come to us from different situations. We offer weekend camping opportunities at our ranch via HipCamp for visitors who want to stay overnight.
