Breeding Entry
A Breeding Entry (BE) is the only way to enroll a horse in the Sweepstakes Program to be eligible to earn prize money at the Regional and National Level. The enrollment is for the life of the horse.
A Breeding Entry is enrolled in-utero, and the application must be postmarked/electronic transaction dated December 31 of the year the mare is bred. For a foal to be eligible to be enrolled as a Breeding Entry, either the sire needs to be enrolled as a Nominated Sire, or the dam must be enrolled as a Nominated Dam.
Nominated Sire / Nominated Dam
Enrollment of a Nominated Sire (NS) or a Nominated Dam (ND) allows their Arabian, Half-Arabian or Anglo-Arabian offspring to be eligible to be enrolled in-utero as a Breeding Entry. Horse must be enrolled the year of breeding. The enrollments are for the lifetime of the horse.
