Description:
SPLENDEUR is the tall ,handsome son of TH Ritchie , one of the best U.S. bred and raced horses of recent years, the first and only Arabian triple Crown winner and multiple Darley Champion, having set several track records. TH Ritchie ranks among the leading sires of race winners. Splendeur's dam, FA Sicilia is a Mag daughter ,whose pedigree includes the Greats of Arabian breeding , including Aswan,Arax ,Priboj ,Taktika ,Mammona ,Situatia and Sapina to name a few. Splendeur showed great promise ,having a great and willing disposition , correct conformation and athletic ability, however in 2013, while in race training ,he sustained a left forelimb bowed tendon . A tendon splitting procedure was performed, followed by several months of stall rest , all of which have resulted in returning him to soundness . His disposition is superb and he has remained sound throughout the past years. His genetic pool would help enrich any breeding program and his wonderful disposition would make him a pleasure to ride.
